March Break Pizza-cato* Fest
Monday, March 12, 2012 5 pm - 8 pm.
Boston Pizza, 180 Bell Boulevard, Belleville
EVENT SPONSOR: Boston Pizza
* Pizza-cato: an obscure culinary term meaning to eat with the fingers; from the Italian term 'pizzicato' meaning to pluck a stringed instrument with the fingers.
Beat the winter blues with
Boston Pizza and Quinte Symphony as they team up once again for another great fundraiser! Join us for our 6th annual
March Break Pizza-cato* Fest and enjoy great Boston Pizza fare with live music performed by Quinte Symphony musicians. Meet the people who play "the music you love" and bring your friends for a fun evening out on the town! Board members and other Quinte Symphony volunteers will be on hand to assist with the festivities.
You never know when a symphony player or server will break into song! Or perhaps a couple will spontaneously get up and waltz (or tap dance) around the tables... Yes, both have happened in past, and if you weren't there - you missed it!
Boston Pizza donates 10% of food and beverage sales between 5-8 p.m. to Quinte Symphony in this annual FUNd-raising event. Last year's March Break Pizza-cato Fest saw a donation of over $300 in support of Quinte Symphony's concerts and programmes.
Quinte Symphony wishes to thank Belleville's Boston Pizza owner Mitch Panciuk and Jeff Bechervaise, General Manager for their ongoing partnership in this event. We also want to thank our Principal Cellist, Linda Minty, for continuing to coordinate all the details.
