When was the last time you played Musical Chairs? At a birthday party when you were a child? Wasn’t it fun? Wouldn’t it be fun to play it again? Well, you can – this is your chance!!
On Friday, May 14, Quinte Symphony will give you that opportunity at their unique fundraiser, appropriately called, MUSICAL CHAIRS. There has never been an event like this in the Quinte area, and you won’t want to miss it!
During the evening a few lucky people will play Musical Chairs with TD Canada Trust’s signature green leather chair. The main event of the evening will be the auctioning of twenty one-of-a-kind works of art – quality, wooden Muskoka chairs, each designed and painted by area artists. You will have the opportunity to purchase one… or more of these wonderful creations, encouraged and cajoled by spirited bidding led by auctioneer, Boyd Sullivan. With themes such as "Moonlight Sonata”, "Butterfly Magic”, "Carousel”, "Paper Bag Princess”, to name a few, there is sure to be something that catches your fancy! Chairs are now on display in area TD Canada Trust branches and in other locations throughout the Quinte region.

Thanks to Sandbanks Estate Winery, each ticket purchaser will receive a complimentary glass of wine. We will also have interesting items available in both silent auctions and raffles! Occasions by the Bay will provide delicious goodies to nibble on and there will be musical entertainment throughout the evening. Decor will be provided by Connon Nurseries.
